[10.10.26] Dongwan’s photolog: An impromptu 1 night/2 day trip

October 30, 2010

There are events happening on all the Sundays this October at the district office~ All kinds of lifestyle/sports events for the residents.
So thinking that it won’t do for me not to go anywhere at all, I enticed Seung Yeob to come along and we headed for somewhere.!

Leaves at the end of their lifespan, lying softly at the entrance to Juwangsan.

The scene seems somewhat familiar, doesn’t it? It’s a place that became famous after a photographer by the name of Michael Kenna took a shot of it!
A place called ‘Solseom‘ in Samcheok, Gangwon-do~ It’s a pity that we missed the sunset…-_- The faint light on the right is the moonrise!

After seeing Solseom we got a little hungry and we went to Uljin for some crabs~
After eating the crabs and resting for 1 night, we set out at dawn for Jusanji which we had to see!

The entrance road to Jusanji.

Jusanji, whose construction began in 1720 in the Joseon era during Sukjong’s reign, and completed during Gyeongjong’s reign in 1721

It is also the filming location for the film ‘Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring’.

Looking at the calm waters my heart became calmer too… ㅎ

Looking for the squirrel!

Seung Yeob who was looking swollen after a night of taking turns to drive…
Next time try to look haggard. -_-;

After returning from Jusanji we went to see the valleys in Cheongsong,
But unlike the image that we expected to see, it felt gloomy so in the end we changed our minds and headed to Seosan to see the sunset!
Why, because the drive there takes only 4 hours~!

Kkotchi Beach – Grandmother Rock and Grandfather Rock

I came here when I just started my public service duty…
Because it has been such a long time the feeling is different now.
Anyway this is the end of the recap of the 1 night/2 day trip across Korea!
